![]() ![]() Since i dont see a 50 on the amp scale im assuming this is only a 2 amp or 10 amp charge rate battery charger BUT if it peggs to the hard right your battery may be dead shorted inside.įirst ignore the colored triangles and stuff - its really not needed at all and rather useless.Ĭonnect all the cables then plug it in and watch the needle on the 10 amp scale. The larger green section goes from 0-10 amps is your 10 amp charge rate scale. The small red one between 0-2 amps - on your 2 amp setting IF th eneedle is pegged at 2 amps its saying the battery is severely depleted (hence big red at 2amps) and is drawing the full 2 amps that your allowing it. The colored triangles and such arent easy to explain and really pointless but ill try: The charge% row the needle is at about 60% telling you the battery is about 60% charged and eventually the needle should go to the left when looking at it near 100% charged or drawing almost zero amps. I assume your selector switch is at 10 amps. The bottom row of numbers with square cubes under them is how many amps is flowing between charger and battery.
